Car Alarms: Scorpion Alarm - Key fob wont activate it, toyota celica, allexperts

Hi, I have a scorpion aftermarket alarm fitted to a Toyota Celica. Recently I went on holiday and left the car with my dad so that it would be safe, when I came back I fonud he had messed with the battery and now my key fob will not activate/deactivate the central locking and alarm. The key fob is oblong with two buttons, the left one is black the right one is red.  I believe that it may have lost its coding with the alarm system and that there is a way to reprogram this, do you know how I might do this at all ?
