Car Alarms: Too sensitive, blinking red light, screw driver

Question
My car alarm is too sensitive. And also if it is in the secure mode, sometimes when I hit the car, alarm doesn't work. But most of the windy time or someone is going near by the car its alarmed.

Answer
Hi,
There would be a shock/impact sensor,
most likely located under the steering column area,
that once found, can be either turned down with
a small screw driver, or unplugged all together
if it's malfunctioning.

This sensor will have a blinking red light and maybe
a green as well. Locate this little module, and see
the inset wheel, turn counter clockwise to turn down.

I hope this works for yours.

Stay in touch.
