Car Alarms: Prestige alarm valet switch, owner manual, prestige alarm, dash area

Good day!
1. I have a Prestige APS 95 BT2 alarm in my truck, purchased second hand. WHere can I get an owners manual for it? I have only 3 photocopied pages on programming the remote.
2. Please 'splain me how the valet toggle switch works.
3. The dash LED stopped working a few years ago. Maybe it shorted out, or the wires got pulled when I serviced the gaugees. Or is there a programmed feature which could disable the LED? If so, how do I enable it again?

Peter. Sorry, but no.
I don't supply service manuals at ALARMTEK.

Try www.AUDIOVOX.com for what might be
available for your alarm system.

The valet:

Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.

The LED in the dash should also go on solid.

That's valet. Repeat the steps to go out of it.

You may need to update/upgrade the alarm if
you can't get the info needed. And without
inspection, hard to say what happened to the
LED. So again, updating is not a bad thing here.
