-----Question-----
hi my daughter has a 1994 duster and did not know it even had an alarm, now it is activated and we can not over ride it,any help thanks
-----Answer-----
I have no listing for a duster under plymouth, dodge or chrysler. could it be considered something else?
-----Answer-----
I got it after I responded thanks. So tell me what is happening. Also do you have a key fob (remote) that will lock and unlock the doors? This must be an aftermarket unit as plymouth does not have an oe listed for this model.

Answer
ok look for a valet switch low on the drivers side, in the glove box, or in a center console. it will either be a small push button or a small flip type. once you find it turn the key to the on position and hold that switch in for 10 seconds or flip it in the other direction. also something else you can try is sticking the key in the drivers door and turning it, if it is OEM this will disarm it. I have several manuals here and none are showing a OEM alarm on this vehicle so I am guessing it is aftermarket. Look up under the drivers dash and see if you can find the brain (usually black and around 6"x6" give or take some in size with a bunch of wires coming out of it that are not covered with wire loom or electrical tape that will be the aftermarket alarm. Let me know if you find this and we can go further on how to remove it.
