Sorry, somehow got deleted. My question is: I recently had the python 460hp alarm and DEI 508d (motion sensor) installed and it goes off every 2-4 hrs for no reason. My truck did not come with a factory alarm, only keyless remote entry. Ive heard it may be a conflict with the on-board computer when it tries to reset itself?? Any ideas?

What zone is the alarm saying was tripped when you get back to the vehicle?  The system will tell you what triggered the alarm.  This is known as event history, check which zone was triggered to narrow down your problem.  If you had said that the alarm trips after approximately 30 minutes I would think the door triggers were not diode isolated.  Find out which zone is causing the alarm to false, then try to evaluate why it caused it to false.
