Car Alarms: Keyless access, chevy silverado, interface adapter

Question
I recently purchased a 2006 Chevy Silverado. It came with keyless entry, however it did not come with a remote starter. I have installed the remote starter and it works perfect! Because I want to only carry one remote, I would like to complete the instal by conecting the keyless entry. I am perplexed as to how I install the keyless entry though. My remote starter comes with an alternating plus and minus set of wires. I really do not want (I will if I have to) to build a relay and run wires directly to the accuateors in both doors to accomplish this. Do you know what wires I can tie into inside the cab of the truck?

Answer
Yeah, not that easy on the 04 + Silverado.
You would need a module designed to interace
the door locks now.

From the notes:

THE DOOR LOCKS IN THIS VEHICLE ARE MULTIPLEXED.
WIRE AS A 5 WIRE REVERSING POLARITY SYSTEM IN EACH
FRONT DOOR OR ACQUIRE A MULTIPLEX INTERFACE
ADAPTER FROM A SECURITY SYSTEM DIDSTRIBUTOR.
PowerLock/Unlock= DATA BUSS SYSTEM

This means either 2 relays and alot of cutting
(see 5 wire reverse locks at www.relayhelp.com
You would need 2 sets of 2 relays, and then would
need to pull the door panels to get to the work spot
for each of the front doors.)

or

the data buss module to the under dash interface
port. I know it's not good news, but we all need
to do it now, so blame GM. Just can't leave well
enough alone over there I guess.

DATABUSS modules for this one run 63.00 plus S&H

Let me know if you need one.

I hope it works out.
