Car Alarms: Hawk security system, hawk security, pontiac grand am

I bought a hawk ltd435 system with remote start and keyless entry.  I only installed the keyless entry portion in my 95 pontiac grand am.  The doors will not lock and unlock with the remote.  The door system is a positive pulse system. I used a meter and read for power at the control unit and everything reads good.  what am I doing wrong?

It sounds as if the system needs to be completed before you
get it to operate. Many combo systems have 3 power sourec wires, and all are required.

My best suggestion is to
complete the entire install,
and do not try to do this half way.

The system will work properly if you do.
