Car Alarms: ultrastart, car stereo systems, nissan maxima

I have a 1993 Nissan maxima with a ultrastart 1250 on it. I am wondering if this system is upgradeable by just plugging in a newer bigger system. I also have only one remote where can i get more.

I am interested in the systems with the remotes that have the lcd's that tell a little more, but do not want to have to re wire everything. I have installed many car stereo systems but am afraid of alarms/remote starts/keyless entries.

I sell replacement Ultrastart remotes for
50. per pair if interested. But if upgrading
Don't spend th money.

To upgrade however won't be that difficult here becasue
the 1250 is already in. You will have to add wiring
for the alarm part but in effect, not so hard if
the 1250 is working well.

The 4255tl is the suggested system upgrade.
at 169.95 and I can certainly get you
through whatever rough spots you may run into.
