I recently installed an aftermarket head unit in my 1996 Grand Cherokee, when the unit is turned on my power windows, all gauges power down, and the alarm light comes on, and stays on. how do I fix this problem?

Hi Nick,

The first thing to do is not turn it on again until you get your issues figured out; you could be damaging/shorting something.

The second thing to do is uninstall that deck.  Go over your wiring.  Something is backwards, crossed, or shorted.  Make sure you use an installation harness, and connect the correct wires.
