Car Stereos: Install Pac soem-t in 1999 jeep grand cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, watt amp

Hello,

I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.  I have a 12" sub and an 800 watt amp that I want to install in it.  I want to keep the factory cd player, speakers, and amp.  Can I use the Pac soem-t to install my new 800 watt amp and still use the factory amp?

Hi Paul,

Yes, that device will work to provide you the low level inputs you need to get sound to the amplifier, and give you a remote turn on.

Being that it just taps the rear speaker wires for their signal, it won't affect your OEM amp or system.
