Car Stereos: VRVD640G Help, chevy s10 pickup, s10 pickup

I have a VRVD640G GPS Navigation System and DVD Player. I have tried installing it into a 1989 Chevy S10 Pickup and it does not work. All i get is the system to turn on and just say "loading" without further action. Is there anything you would recommend to do in order to make it work?

Sorry about the delay in answering this question.  Unfortunately, I'm not personally familiar with the unit you're using, but it certainly sounds like an internal problem, not a wiring issue.  You might check for a reset button on the front of the unit; usually this is a small, recessed button meant to be pressed with a pen tip.  Otherwise, your best bet is to contact the manufacturer directly for technical support.  Sorry I can't be more helpful!
