Car Stereos: Speakers and amp, alpine amp, alpine speakers

Question
I have 2 pair of sps-600 alpine speakers and a mrp-f300 alpine amp and they just dont sound that good I have had the amp tuned and checked by the people who installed it. I have a Toyota Tundra double cab 2006 truck should i have bought a little larger amp or different speakers just dont like the sound and have spent money on this have any suggestion?

Answer
Larry, I do not understand what is the problem.  Sound quality? or Sound loudness?  If the sound quality is not up to par, you may want to upgrade to a better speaker.  Normally, just about any aftermarket speaker will outperform a factory speaker, but sometimes there are a few that don't measure up.  To fix that, I would suggest looking into MB Quart or Polk Audio.  If they are not loud enough, then you should look into a more powerful amp.  As long as you buy a namebrand amp, it should sound fine.  Just get one with the power you are looking for.  Then get speakers to match the rms power of the amp.  If you are looking for more bass response in your system, it will require a subwoofer and sub amp to create the lower frequencies.  Hope this helps, Scott
