Car Stereos: radio, pioneer cd player, pioneer unit

I have a 89 Cadillac sedan Deville i put a pioneer cd player in it but there is no sound coming out of speakers what should i do?

jr,  I would replace the original unit, and see if it makes sound still.  Then, I would take the Pioneer into a stereo shop and have them test the unit.  If the original unit still made sound in the car, and the Pioneer unit passed inspection; then I would make sure I had the correct wiring harness adapter and double check all of the connections to be correct and secure.  Doing all of this will usually point out the culprit.  Hope this helps, Scott
