Hi,

The BP212 is a bandpass speaker system, and it can't be connected directly to your head unit.  It needs to be used with an amplifier.  Either a mono or 2-channel amp would work fine.

However, if you're talking about the 12 volt power source for the subwoofer's built-in lighting system, that can be connected to a 12-volt power source.  You'd need to decide when you want the lights to be on.  The easiest method would be to run a power wire from the box's lighting terminal to the key-switched power wire at the back of the deck.  This would turn the lighting on whenever the key is on, and turn them off again when the car is off.
