Car Stereos: radio anti theft on, factory radio, out of the blue

Hello, today the anti theft system for the radio just came on out of the blue and now the radio or CD player will work.  I read the manual and it does not say how to reset or shut it off.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to help you or not; but in order to try, I'll need to know the brand and model of the radio (if it's after-market) or the year, make and model of the vehicle (if it's a factory radio).  Please follow up with this information, and I'll see if I can find a solution for you.
