Car Stereos: 2004 Hyundai radio amplifer kills battery over night, hyundai xg350, stock unit

Question
Scott
I have a 2004 Hyundai XG350. 11 months ago the radio amplifier was replaced under warranty as it kept killing my new battery. At that time it had 46k miles on it. Now at 53k it's doing the same thing but now the warranty is passed. At $600.00 a pop you can imagine I need to find what's causing the problem and the best fix.

Answer
Ronn, I would look for a replacement amplifier.  There are many aftermarket amps out there that can replace the stock unit.  Your car shouldn't be experiencing that type of problem from an audio component.  Have the shop, where you buy the amp, install it, and you should be good to go.  Hope this helps, Scott
