Car Stereos: Need help with bass, chevy malibu, audio car

I just got a 04 Chevy Malibu. I would like to keep the manufacturer's stereo. However, I would love to try to add a amplifier or kicker to increase the bass sounds.  I do have an SPX Audio Car Amplified 2 CH subwoofer system tube. Can I use this tube and something else? What is the best way to go with this to get good clear sounds ( wanna be able to hear to bass while outside and inside) of car-right now its all inside). Please help me figure how to accomplish this task.

You can use the tube if you like but if you're looking to really ramp it up, you should consider a decent bridgeable amplifier and a sub enclosure with decent subwoofers.
Just a quick point though.. a decently designed system should hold the bass in the vehicle... that's how you build sound pressure... if you are looking to "entertain" folks outside the vehicle, please consider those folks who may not appreciate your music and/or the volume you are listening.. :)
