How do I uninstall the original car radio of my 2002 KIA Sportage?

Metra Electronics makes a mounting kit for installing a new head unit in your Kia.  The instruction manual for the kit includes detailed, illustrated instructions for taking the dash apart and removing the factory radio.  Here's a link for the document; you can find the instructions you need on page 6:
