Question
i am trying to upgrade my audio in mt 1993 buick lesabre. and i cannot seem to get the dash speakers cover off. i've asked alot of people but no one seeems to know the answer. thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Michael,

Most installers when faced with a '93 Buick Lesabre all do the same thing: "screw it".

The panel over the speakers in the lesabre only looks like a separate panel -- it's part of the plastic.

That whole dash has to come out to get at th speakers.  There should be a fake wood panel type panel on the dash near the top.  That pops off (very carefully).  Then, all the heater vents should pop out.

Next, there shoul be approximately 12 philips head screws beneath the fake wood panel and vents that should now be exposed.  You need to remove all of these.  Then the dash should be loose.  Pull it towards you, and the speakers should become visible.

Good luck,
Justin
