Well sorry!! It is a remote wire thatcomes from the amp to the radio. I need to know what wire i need to hook it up to so when it comes on when i start my car? Also i need a color diagram for hooking u a amp/subwoofer converter to a factory radio. I don't know if this helps much but I hope!!!

Hi Jay,

The remote wire that goes to the amp probably doesn't exist on the factory radio.  You can tap into the power antenna wire if there is one, or the accessory wire.

Unfortunately, the colour scheme on pretty much every vehicle and every year is different.  What I would suggest is picking up a $10 wire harness for your car as though you were putting an aftermarket deck in it.  Don't install it, but using it, you can map out where every wire goes coming out of the factory harness.

You'll need to get an amp with speaker level inputs to hook it into your factory deck (at least, that's the most likely scenario).  You'll need the speaker hookups, and whatever you decide to use as a remote wire.  Everything else comes off the battery/chassis, etc.
