QUESTION: Have a 90 v6 at. chevy berrita, have cambered RF with about1.5 inch lean. I'm been arguing with dad about the left side, he's an old racer that say i should lean it in instead of out, so who right? This is for asphalt. Thanks Jerry
ANSWER: If it's a circle track - - -he's right, the tires should BOTH lean away from the outside arc of the turn.  Most stock set ups use about 4 degrees negative on the RF and 2 degrees positive on the LF

ANSWER: Your first example is correct- - - LF = \-\  and RF = \-\ This is what they should look like from behind .

Now , you should also run about 1/8" of total toe out in the front that's toe OUT, not toe in which would be for street driving. Once you get the car handling a little better, you can experiment with the toe out  to correct pushing.

Go to a bookstore and try to buy or order "How To Make Your Car Handle" by Fred Puhn ( about $16.00) - - - it's a VERY good reference , you will learn a LOT from it, but you gotta read it through at least twice before it all begins to gel.

Hi again :

Sorry, this time I'm lost.  most of what we race comes with a distributor from the 70's and we either replace it totally with an electronic ingntion system, or fit electronic parts and add our own rev limiter. But one that works at 8000 RPM
