Auto Racing: Performance Advice, 2004 subaru forrester, cold air intake

I just got a stock 2004 subaru forrester and i want to buy performance parts for it but i dont know where to start. When i am looking at parts to buy i dont really know what they are for or what they do. If u have any advice or know someone who does please help me out. Thanks for your time.

  Well...after looking for about 20 minutes online, I can't seem to find much for Forresters in the way of performance modifications.  Really about all I could find were cold air intake...but those are only of little help.  I would imagine that if you've got a turbo model, modifications could be made to make higher boost levels...but there doesn't seem to be much out there for Forresters.  You might try looking for Subaru performance message boards online and seeing what people on the board have to say.  They may (and probably do) know something I don't.  Hope this helps.
