Auto Racing: crankcase evacuation system, crankcase evacuation system, oil control

Hi Steve. I wish to install a crankcase evacuation system on a chevy 305ci race engine.(I know it's not a ford but I hope you can help me out). If you have done this before I will forward my questions because there are several.  Thanks.  Bruce.

  I wish I could help, but I'll be the first to admit I don't know much about them...I've never had much of a use for them.  I used a system on a car a few years ago and it kind of disappointed me.  I didn't see much in the way of gains besides a slight improvement in oil control.  After a few races, several dyno pulls, and no better results it was removed and I haven't even looked at them since.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
