BMW Repair: 318i rear coil spring, rubber insulators, rear sway bar

Could you please tell me how to remove the rear coil spring, passengwer side 1985 318i. Thank you.

Rashid, this vehicle is not listed as a strong suit in my profile, but here goes -- repair instructions show removing mounts for rear muffler. Removing mount for rear differential and holding downward with a wedge of some type. Removing rear sway bar. Placing a jack under trailing arm without crushing brake line, then removing lower shock bolt. Slowly lowering down trailing arm just enough to remove spring. Too far will damage outputshaft. Note installation position before removal. Replace rubber insulators on spring. That is as much as BMW tells me. Good luck.
