BMW Repair: 1991 525 BMW, tie rod ends, oil dipstick

Question
Changed front transmission pan gasket today, taking out a little over a pint of transmission fluid.  To refill this pan, is it entered through the regular dipstick?
Question 2:  The rubber boots on the tie rod ends are busted but the tie rod end is still good. Can I change just the boots and if so, who sells them?

if it has a transmission dipstick, then you would fill it through there. make sure it is not the oil dipstick. if the rubber boots are torn, the whole joint needs to be replaced. you can find them at the dealer or a lot of aftermarket bmw specialty dealers. bavarian autosport is one place
