BMW Repair: manuel gearshift knob, gearshift knob, bmw forums

i purchased a burlwood shifter knob but cannot take off the original, i took off the top took out the screw but it does not come off can you help me

Answer
It all depends on what model and year car you have.  most 325's in the 80's and 90's just need to be pulled off, others twist off (many of the 80's 5 series.)
