American Motors: 69 Rambler performance brakes, heavy duty brakes, performance brakes

Question
I've seen that you can do a disk front conversion using stock parts, but I'm looking to do a REALLY high horsepower setup in my '69 Rambler and want some sort of larger brake setup.  Is there a different rotor that has the right bearing and seal size for the Rambler spindle that I could then fab up my own caliper bracket?

Adam

Answer
Adam,
I don't know if I would install the type of brake you are looking for on your stock spindles. The spindles are not high performance, especially if you have an American.
Installing a set up from an Ambassador would be more than a enough for heavy duty brakes. I do not know the specs of the rotors as you are asking.
AMX Enterprises in Colorado has a heavy duty brake set up. Look them up on the web and give him a call.
