Audio Systems: box size, power situations, optimal performance

Question
hi i was wondering what size box to build or buy, i have 2 10"clarion subs model srw1045 and i was wondering if i should build a 2 in 1 design or a separate box for both i would like the 2 in 1 better but i have no clue as to the size that would sound best if you could help me out that'd be great thanks

Answer
It depends on your intentions and expectations ultimately (Sound Quality or SPL).
Boxes can be done many ways but I would suggest that you go with the Clarion recommended SEALED box for optimal performance.

Expect 110-120 Db (total) if you apply 350 RMS/continuous watts to each one.
For high power situations you should have separate chambers for each speaker.

If you want to experiment, do it after you have heard their recommended box in your vehicle. Many things are possible with enclosures but most of the techy ones take lots of time to create and tune.
