Audio Systems: system for truck, chevy s10, shallow mount subs

hi, im wanting to buy a system for my truck but not on sure what to get, i have an extended cab 2000 chevy s10 and im looking to spend around 3000 dollars, what would you recommend on head unit, amp, subs, speakers? thanks

Trucks are perhaps the most difficult to design a system for. Pioneer shallow mount subs are the ideal candidate (pun not intended) for a truck as they require very little space.

Tips:

Look for CEA-2006 compliant head units and amplifiers.
Subs with a sensitivity of 91 dB or higher are recommended.
