Audio Systems: How to install Sirius Radio in a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, ford radio, ford mercury

QUESTION: I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer with the MACH stereo system.  If I decide to get Sirius Radio, what do I need to get to hook it up to this radio and how is this done?  Thank you for your help!

ANSWER: what radio you have ? is there a factory cd changer ?

QUESTION: It is the original factory installed Ford/Mercury MACH AM/FM/CD radio.  It is the one that has the RDS button on it and it only has one slot for a CD, no CD changer.

you can buy any portable Sirius radio with a car kit
some have cigarret light plug or it can also be wire behind the radio for power
for audio you need this interface it will plug in to the ford radio and your portable Sirius  
to listen to the sat radio you press the cd twice on the ford radio
