Audio Systems: boat install, alpine cda 9883, radio radio

Question
I am upgrading a stereo in a boat.  It is an Alpine CDA 9883.  After it was installed the unit resets or turns off when you get the volume above 16.  I have rewired the power directly to the battery and charged the battery but it still does the same.

I called Alpine technical support and they indicated to check the power.  Which is why I rewired directly to the battery.

I do not have a separate amp for unit.

Any suggestions?

your problem is the power source of the radio radio resets if under 11.4 volts
check the power yellow wire needs to be constant always from the battery no switch and the ground needs to check also you need to rund a black wire to the battery   the red wire connects to the ignition switch
