Audio Systems: SAP, programing, sap

QUESTION: What does SAP mean?  I have Stereo, Mono and SAP available on my TV.

ANSWER: SAP - Second Audio Program.

In truth I've never had need to use it so I myself would read the manual to see what the intended use is. I will look into it but if you find out before I do please let me know.

Is there something that you think your missing from your TV? Unless you know that SAP is an important function (in all my 30 odd years of exerience I think it came up once at a United Nations Event), I would look into improving programing before I worried about a setting that is rarely used.
