Audio Systems: Trouble setting my clock..., pioneer car stereo, arrow keys

  I press the button that reads clock...then I try moving the left , right, up and down buttons.  I can't figure out how to set the clock. Can you (how to)tell me what time it is:)? Pioneer car stereo  DEH-A12

Most Pioneer radios have a little button on the side of the select pad.  You hold it down for 2 or 3 seconds to engage the time set mode.  Then the arrow keys are used to select time.

Turn unit off.  Time display should be on.  Push the clock function button and hold it down for a few seconds, then use the arrow keys on the pad to set time.

If it does not follow this pattern you may need to go to the pioneerelectronics.com web site and download the manual for your radio - or one similar to it that will instruct you in detail.  

The model number you gave me, DEH-A12, does not come up on any of my references. Either it is too old to still be listed, or a wrong number.  But, the clock function is pretty much the same on all Pioneer units of a family of units.
