The text above is a follow-up to ...

-----Question-----
I have an 800 watt 2 channell amp and two audiobahn 12" duall voice coil subs. The amp is stable to two ohms only and I was wondering what wiring setup would get me the most out of my amplifier.
I was thinking bridging the amp and going +to+/-to- on each sub but I think that will take me down to 1 ohms and blow my amp
-----Answer-----
I need to know the ohms of the coils before I can tell you what ohms they'll be, just knowing the number of coils is only 1/2 the equasion.  I looked up audiobahn and it looks like MOST of their stuff is dual 4 ohm so here's a site you can see what the different wiring options are for 2 dual voice coil subs that are 4 ohms per coil:

but if your subs arent dual 4 ohms then this is wrong.
Let me know

Answer
the amp you showed me is not made for 2 ohms bridged, only 2 ohms stereo.  it will only support a 4 ohm bridged load so go with the 2nd picture on this link:

ok, great then, use the 2nd picture on the link I sent before:

http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?subs

that will give the amp a 4 ohm mono load which it's optimized for.

good luck!
