Audio Systems: speakers, mercury villager, speaker box

Question
I have a 1995 Mercury Villager, The speaker box in the trunk I was moving rubbed against the metal trunk latch and then I heard the electric popping noise and then all the speakers blanked out I checked all the fuses and can't figure out how to get sound the stereo is working but there is no sound coming out of all the speakers

when i was moving my speakerbox one of the wires rubbed on the latch and the speakers just blacked out. please tell me what i can do?

be more specific, i don't have any idea what you're talking about

sounds like your best bet is to replace stereo and reinforce box wiring so it doesn't happen again. box wiring shouldn't be any smaller than 14 gauge, larger if you're running any power. it costs much more to fix stereo you have than it would cost to replace it. if you are using a seperate amp for box, just replace that...
