Audio Systems: Most beat i can get, dodge ram 1500, watts rms

Question
I own a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad-cab. I was wondering with the custom built box under the back seat, what subs to choose that could give me the most bump as possible. MTX offers some and also the pioneer pancakes do as well, only for about 6oo watts (together). Just ain't enough. What is the most powerful speakers that i could fit in that little box?

Answer
'just aint enough'

Interesting, I ran twin 18's @ 1/4 of their 1000 watts each RMS rating and it was very more than adequate (but I was after longevity and high definition, dynamic, accurate sound).
The idea was to match the 15 other speakers I had for mid bass, mids and highs (which would hit 126 Db on their own!).  Turns out I could have used a pair of 12's (but they would have needed full RMS power which would lean towards unavoidable damage).
Of course (and probably most importantly after the enclosure  volume you have to work with), I have no idea of your listening tastes or expectations.

There are 12" woofers out there that can take 4000 watts RMS each and they cetainly are not Pioneer or MTX.
The problem then is providing adequate 12v amperage to the amp you would need to properly drive them (without clipping at the amps' output stages from peak transients).

Another issue is the sensitivity. Most ultra high power subs do not have a good sensitivty rating.
This means they needs lots more power than very efficeint ones will. So do not be alarmed when some chap with a well loaded and thought-out, high efficiency subwoofer setup owns you with only 1/3 the power! I did it for eight years in IASCA.

The box you create will have to perfectly (or near perfectly) match the subs you choose. So, the internal volume of the enclosure will dictate which speakers can be used properly.

As you can see, for me to bark out speaker brands and models to you (at this point) would be quite friverlous.
How much space the box has internally is paramount.

For starters:
Please define 'little box'. Maby I can then be more specific in my advice about which speakers, Chris.
