Audio Systems: installing after market unit to exsisting entertainment set up, chevy suburban, overhead tv

I have a 2002 chevy suburban and it came with an audiovox overhead tv with seperate dvd and vcr under the seat. I want to put a jensen 9410 tvdvd head unit in the dash can they be hooked up to work together if so how, and how can the head unit be hooked up to show movies with the car in drive. Any help would be very grateful on my behalf.

Yes, I think so.  But, you better go online and download the owners manual of each unit and check the in/out features and see what kind of interface is necessary. In other words, you must do some home work to assure that the units are compatible and that the run of wires and cables are within your power to do.

A custom install shop would do this like water of a duck's back probably.

First, I would check the Audiovox system for video input; then check the Jensen for video output. If so, you are home free, pretty much.
