Audio Systems: Boat Audio System Battery Question, dual battery setup, deep cycle battery

Question
In my boat I have enhanced my Audio System. I added a 10" bazooka Sub powered by its own 600W amp. I have added 4 polk Audio 6.5" speakers and 2 tweeters off 2 of these speakers. I have added a Pyle 1000w amp to power these four speakers. I have also installed a dual battery setup that allows me to isolate and/or turn off either or both. Both batterys are marine starting batterys. My question is this. I know that when I am going to anchor and party for awhile I isolate the battery that the sound system comes off of so when I get ready to go I will have a backup battery to start the engine. But it seems that the sound system will kill a battery in about 10-15min. Would a deep-cycle battery give me anymore time? Also it normal that these amps can kill a perfectly good battery in only 10-15 min? Thanks

Answer
hello: try to find amplifiers that are more eficience your amplifiers take a lof of power and less than 30% of that power is convert in to music  we are talking about the pyle amplifier
in a good battery they need to play for 1 hour
a yellow top optima will give you a better reserve and maybe a siemmens solar panel 50 to 75 watss will solve your problem and the boat engine don't need to be running to charge the battery
