Audio Systems: 96 Ford Taurus Stereo, ford taurus gl, ford taurus

I have a 96' Ford Taurus GL and I would like to replace the manufactor's stereo.  How do I do this and who would have a stereo that would work and look appropriate?

If you are going to do this yourself, Crutchfield would be the best place for specifics on upgrading that 'deck and 4'.
You can get online advice as well, there about your Taurus.
Circuit City would also have the deck, wiring adaptor and installation kit that will be needed (and at fair prices), but they are not likley to have such good advisors on hand.
