Audio Systems: radio not working, fusible link, 1995 honda accord

Question
we have a 1995 Honda accord LX. we plugged an air compressor in the cigarette lighter for power and since then, our radio stopped working. fuses looked fine.  do you know what the problem could be?
I didn't see any previous questions relating to this.

Answer
sounds like you burned a 'fusible link', which is a specific size section of wire designed to burn out in cases of too much amperage flowing through it. it will be tough to find without a service manual that includes wiring diagrams, only available through a dealer, and at quite a hefty cost. it's up to you wether or not to soak around $150 or more for manual, or go to auto sound installer and let them find it. personally, i'd choose the second option.
