Audio Systems: pioneer 7600mp car stereo, work bench, power failure

Question
upon instal the power and acc wire touched the deck blowing the fuse but also shorted the unit due to the acc touching the main hot wire wich was fuseless, would this something as simple as a capacitor that shorted or ? the unit still gets power doesn't light fully, only the light on the eject and the cd insert light under the flip down face "it blinks when attemping to eject" theres a 16v 3300uf cap on the circuit board path right after the wire harness, and nothing apppears burnt on the back side. could this be the source for power failure?

Answer
Travis,
The problem may be due to one or more power switching transistors that have shorted out. Some troubleshooting with a volt meter on a work bench with the stereo powered by a 12 power supply should help locate the faulty part/s.
