I need to know the what are the  wiring colors for the Kia Sephia 1997 car stereo and how to I connect it correctly and what wires go to what, I would like a step by step instructions, thanks

  ok if you are going to install an aftermarket unit you dont need to know the factory colors all you need is a wire harness adapter kit *8-12 $* at radio shack this will wire into your new units harness color for color then simple plug back into your factory harness , it keeps everything neat and professional and more reliable.. now if someone has already cut the factory plug off and you are trying to replace the unit check out www.streetdreams.com/wires they should have the color code information you need .. now if you are installing a new aftermarket unit .. you might also need a dash install kit this can be picked up at radio shack to for around 10-15 dollars this will help mount the new unit in your dash and also gives you full instructions on the removal of your old unit and the install of the new one .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
