I have a Audi A3 sports FSI. My window wipers on the front,work when they want too, any ideas.

Hi Mandy,

There are a few possibilities, but the most likely cause is a bad connection on the electrical circuit to the wiper motor,

Start off with the fuses, check that they are connected properly and in good condition, then move onto the wiper motor itself, (phlenum chamber between the engine and passenger compartment) check the socket is connected properly and that there is no corrosion on the pins them self. if everything is fine upto this point then move onto the wiper stalk on the steering column, again check the connections are secure and clean.

if you find no faults at this point then either the wiper motor itself is faulty(bad connection internally) or the wiper stalk is faulty.
