Audi Repair: directional switch, sockets, copper

Question
Hey Jan, I replaced my directional switch once now it went out again, first just the right signaler went out then the whole thing went out, do you know what it is?

Well normally when I do post-mortmes on these, I find that the connections between the two halves have copper contacts and sockets, the sockets sometimes open up a little too much, and make poor contact.  So if you remove the directional switch, split the unit and just close the sockets up a little, this could well fix your problem.  Let me know,  Jan
