Cadillac Repair: 1994 Cad Fleet Brougham dashboard has gone out., ground circuits, fuel gauge

Recently my dashboard speedometer,fuel gauge,and odometer has went blanked.How do I fix this problem? My second question is that my reverse lights don't work as well. I replaced the light bulbs and still nothing. What is the cause of this?

On the backup light fault is either the steering column mounted Park/Neutral position and backup lamp switch assembly (PNP). Or a faulty ground in the trunk on the drivers side inside fender area wire.

Fault of dash could be:

Faulty dash cluster components.

faulty battery inputs.

Faulty ground circuits.



If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
