Cadillac Repair: 98 cadillac sts stalls out..., cadillac seville sts, 1998 cadillac seville

QUESTION: First off I have a 1998 cadillac seville sts that has 86000 plus miles on it. I was about ten minutes into my drive to today and the vehicle stall on me. It was at full operating temperature and I was sitting at a stop light when the vehicle stalled. I went to several forums and really didn't find a reason for this except for maybe cleaning the throttle body ( which i have not done yet). I also pulled the codes from the car but haven't the slightest clue on what they mean. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Since ALL the codes are HISTORY, Go ahead and CLEAR (erase) ALL the codes from the computers and see if any return.

Your most likely problem is a residue buildup in the throttle body that is keeping the throttle plate from closing all the way. Access the throttle plate and clean all the residue from the throttle plate area.
