Cadillac Repair: 97 Cadillac STS, cadillac sts, seven seconds

My FOB remotes have quit operating the doors, trunk lid, and fuel door. I've replaced the batteries, still the same problem. Is there a fuse that protects the main module that controls these features? Where is it located ?

Did you try and resynchronize the transmitter ?.


1. Press and HOLD the TRUNK button and within ONE SECOND press and HOLD the LOCK button. Continue to hold BOTH buttons for seven seconds and release both buttons.

Does it work NOW ?.

If NOT, we will have to try and reprogram them.
