Cadillac Repair: 1990 DeVille Climate fan quit working, blower motor, glovebox

Question
How do I start to trouble shoot this?  Heater A/C fan was working just great, then quit without warning.  Does not work on any setting (Econo, Auto, Defrost, etc.) I can feel the heat so I know the heater core is still working.  I can hear the "door" open and close under the dash but have not removed the glovebox to see if the rod/lever is stripped out.  Where do I start?  Brr...

Answer
You need to replace the POWER MODULE and the blower motor. The blower motor is located in the engine compartment on the passengers side mounted into a big black plastic box. The power module is located on top of the big black box just to the left of the blower motor as you are standing in fronr of the vehicle. It has (3) 7mm screws and aseveral wires in a single plug and 2 or 3 wires in another plug. When you remove it you will see a large aluminum finned device at the bottom of the power module which helps to identify that you have the correct part.
