what is the firing order of the core pack for a 1998 cadillac catera

Hi Carol,

     Unfortunately Cadillac doesn't publish a firing order for the engine. However if you meant where do the sparkplug wires attach to the coil this is how they go.

      The passenger side of the engine has cylinders 1-3-5 while the drivers side has cylinders 2-4-6. So cylinder #1 & #2 are closest to the radiator, #3 & #4 in the middle while #5 & #6 are closest to the windshield.

      On the coil the front row is 2 (passenger), 6 (center), 4 (drivers side) while the back row closest to the windshield is 5 (passenger), 3 (center), 1 (drivers side).
