Cadillac Repair: 1990 deville code E.49 E.E.49, air management, fuel injectors

I have a 1990 deville 4.5L engine running rough replaced the air diverter valve still running like I have a miss in one of the cylinders, was also tuned up. I was wondering if the E.E.49 code is part of the air management system or something  else. Please help.

Yes EE49 is a fault in the air management system. A leaking fuel injector can cause this code to appaer. You need to have all the fuel injectors or the one you believe if faulty tested cleaned and or replaced.

Once the possible faulty injector is fixed, You CLEAR this code from the computer and see if it returns.
